My name is Sophie and I have crowned myself a walking expert. A city's walkability is my top priority when choosing a place to live, which is why I fell in love with New York.

I’ve been coming to the city with friends and family ever since I can remember, and I made the official move in early 2024. Since then, I’ve encountered the trials and tribulations of the current job market, like many other recent college grads.

With the free time I have, I entertain myself by wandering aimlessly around the city, discovering every hidden nook and cranny in each neighborhood I explore. I started this blog to put my walking knowledge to good use and I truly believe there’s no better way to get around New York than on foot.

Hello!
